Becoming a member is the best way to play golf when you want and how you want.

The well regarded Greenacres Golf Club is just located on Best Island in the heart of Tasman Bay. As a full member you have access to all club facilities, including a well stocked Golf Shop, cafe and members bar. You also have reciprocal rights to play at other courses around New Zealand and Australia.

Joining is easy. Just complete the online application and we will contact you about your Dot Golf registration and payment (options). Alternatively pop along to our Golf Shop or Office and pick up an application.

These rates apply to different age groups and skill levels and can change depending on your skill level and other variables. * Once a junior under the age of 18 & still at Intermediate or College has a handicap of 15 or less they will become an Elite Junior. Over 70’s who are existing members can also renew a 9 hole membership for $510.

Seasons

Our season runs from Opening Day which is usually the beginning of February until Closing Day which is usually the end of November beginning of December.

Winter Rates and Summer Rates

Winter Rates 18/9 – $610/$370 From 01 April until 30 September. Summer Rates 18/9 – $610/$370 From 01 October until 31 March. Shorter periods are negotiable. Please ask our Office Manager

Twilight Golf – 9 Holes

Runs from Mid October to Mid March. Wednesday evenings and teams of four. Apply to Golf Shop 544 6441 A great evening for social golfers

Practice Makes Perfect

You can come and practice or just warm up on our long driving range with 90mtr, 135mtr, 180mtr, and 220mtr boards.

Get out of the sand in practice bunkers. Chip and short pitch onto our chipping green, warm up in our driving nets or putt on our practice green.

Coaching

We offer top quality coaching with our NZPGA Professional Alistair Palmer. Alistair is the resident coaching professional at Greenacres Club having joined the team in January 2010. He brings with him a wealth of experience in coaching and has enjoyed many personal successes during a life of enjoyable achievement as a professional golfer.

For Juniors Under 19 yrs of age coaching is 1/2 price.

MEETING ROOMS

Let Greenacres look after your meeting and conference room needs with our range of different meeting spaces.

The main club room comfortably seats up to 100 guests and is ideal for larger groups, AGM’s, conferences and parties. Our Estuary Lounge, is regularly used by smaller groups for meetings, training and workshops, and seats up to 25. Break out rooms are also available.

We can tailor catering to your needs or you can grab a refreshment from our cafe’ and enjoy morning tea or lunch from the balcony.

COURSE HIRE

Our beautiful course is available for hire. Whether you are seeking to hold a team building activity, corporate entertainment or Christmas function, its an ideal spot (and golf is such a great way to meet new people or talk business in a fun environment).

After a round or two you can relax in our cafe’ or bar. Use our onsite caterers or you can bring your own (with full kitchen facilities and BBQ’s available).

Greenacres annually runs a Referees Course for our Members and is usually held in the latter part of the year. We are very fortunate to have Chris Webb in our Club who is a National Referee who does these Courses for us. His phone number is (03) 5423950 and email is chris-webb@xtra.co.nz. He is very happy to answer any questions you may have on the rules. Golf NZ now have an extensive area on the Rules of Golf for you to peruse.

Note of Interest.

Read the Local Rules for each club you play at. For example at G’acres on No. 17 our local rule re a ball striking the power lines requires the shot to be replayed. However, at Motueka on No. 2 a post and overhead cables by the clubhouse can affect play. At present there’s no local Rule covering them so your ball must be played as it lies. Never assume.
