WOMEN'S SECTION 

Slow Play..... The most awful thing there is while playing golf showed its ugly face again this week. The worst part is that we all know how to prevent it from happening and that it's a shared responsibility to make sure slow play doesn't get a chance. Step up if slow play is happening before your eyes, be as ready as you can for your next shot, and stick to your 40 seconds max. per shot.

For in your diaries and (soon) up on the noticeboard in the clubrooms:

• Battle of the Sexes poster, a fun mixed competition on the 27th of April.
• Poster and entry form for the Veterans' Cup. The opening round is on the 14th of May. Format: Matchplay on handicap, random shuffle draw, played on weekdays, 60 years and over. Enter on or before the 7th of May.

• Entry form for the Totaradale Ladies Foursomes (Thursday 9th May). Format is 18 hole ladies foursomes with half combined handicap. Report 9.30am (morning tea), tee off 10.30am. Entry $10. Enter with pairs. Entries close 7th May. Entries to Willie Simpson (wilhelminasim@outlook.co.nz) or on sheet in clubhouse.

From Tuesday 13th February 2024 up till about the end of April (specific date will be decided on closer to the date) please report before 9.00am for a 9.30am start.
